1. Introduction
GateKeepr respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our platform.
2. Notification of Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded, posted, or shared on GateKeepr in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the infringing material: A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on GateKeepr, including the URL or other specific location. Please provide enough detail to allow us to locate the material.
- Your contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Your signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Submitting a DMCA Notice

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the content that has been removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in [Your Jurisdiction], and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or their agent
5. Our Response Process
5.1 Upon Receipt of a Valid DMCA Notice
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the user who posted the material
- Take reasonable steps to notify the user of the complaint
5.2 Upon Receipt of a Valid Counter-Notification
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will:
- Forward the counter-notification to the original complainant
- Inform them that we will restore the removed content in 10-14 business days
- Restore the content unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking an injunction
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
GateKeepr has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to GateKeepr and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
7. No Obligation to Monitor
GateKeepr is not obligated to monitor content uploaded by users, but we reserve the right to review and remove any content that violates our Terms of Service or this DMCA Policy.
8. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
9. False Claims
Section 512(f) of the DMCA provides that any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability.
